Hi, I’m Gioana Afshar, Art Director from Munich.
I aim to elevate each project to its highest aesthetic, as delivering a premium feel is what drives me.

Born in 2000 in Starnberg to a German-Italian mother and a Persian father, I have always been curious to immerse myself in different cultures. I have been painting since I was a baby and it soon became clear that my main interest was the aesthetic depiction of people. Even before my teenage years, I developed a keen interest in graphic design and fashion/beauty, spending hours in my spare time after school designing perfume advertisements and fashion magazine covers. After graduating from high school, I completed my training as a state-certified communication designer at the Munich Design School, specializing in fashion-focused graphic design.

Immediately afterwards, I found a graphic design internship at Hallhuber in September 2022, where I was quickly promoted to Junior Art Director. For the last few months until the company's unexpected insolvency, I managed the graphics department alone with a focus on the web and reported directly to the Head of Online Shop.

Ever since then I have been working as an Art Director in the medical industry.
